These terms are between you (the business opening the account) and Bright Thoughts Technologies, which operates Ansabel. Creating an account means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
Ansabel provides an AI phone receptionist and the tools around it: call answering, recording and transcription, a call log, CRM, tickets, outbound calling, a chat widget, web forms and notifications. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you depend on, we will tell you first.
Keep your password to yourself and your teammate list current — anyone you invite can see everything in your workspace. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
This is the part that matters most, because you control what your receptionist says.
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings → Subscription; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it.
Usage above your plan — call minutes, extra phone numbers, AI usage — is billed at cost by the underlying providers. Inbound calls are never blocked for going over a limit.
Ansabel depends on the vendors listed under sub-processors. Their outages, price changes and policy changes affect the service, and we do not control them. Phone numbers are issued by our voice provider under its terms and are subject to carrier registration requirements.
We aim for continuous availability and do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we will avoid business hours when we can.
Your account data, call records and configuration remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to host and process them so the service works, as described in the privacy policy and the data processing addendum. Ansabel itself — the software, design and content — remains ours.
Summaries, extracted fields, sentiment labels, transcripts and anything the receptionist says are generated by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or misheard. Do not rely on them where accuracy is critical without checking the recording or transcript. We do not warrant that the receptionist will answer correctly, or that any particular call will be answered.
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, for breach of these terms, or where continued use would expose us or a third party to legal risk — with notice where practical, immediately where not. On termination we delete workspace data as described in the privacy policy; export what you need first.
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or business opportunities — including a missed or mishandled call. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these terms; material changes are emailed to account holders and take effect on the date shown. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
